Day by Day

Welcome to Guayaquil! The largest, and the second most important city in Ecuador. Economically speaking, is the most important, because of its location at sea level. After your pick up at the airport upon your arrival, we will be transferred to the heliport located in Duran. After that, we will fly for 30 minutes until La Danesa Hacienda (Helicopter quoted separately). The transfer in terrestrial private transportation may take approximately 1h45m The welcome dinner will be a great experience to begin with this magic countryside hacienda. Here you can take a deep rest after your international travel, with the highest comfort standards.

You will be transferred through the beautiful and amazing landscapes of the Coast, to the traditional Hacienda El Castillo. Approximately around 11 am; we will be a part of the Mango and Cacao experience here, where you will enjoy peace and tranquility surrounded by paths that cross the plantations. You will taste a typical mango welcome beverage and the cacao fresh fruit. The main agricultural activity of the Hacienda El Castllo is its cocoa plantation, which currently has 90 hectares and is constantly growing. We have complete control over the entire process of sowing, harvesting, and post-harvest of the product, providing an incomparable guarantee of its quality. After the visit, we will spend the night in a classic hotel in Guayaquil City. Dinner and Overnight.

After breakfast, you will be pick-up will be at Hotel del Parque in order to be transferred to the heliport in Guayaquil, where we begin our helicopter flight. You will have the opportunity to view the Andean Highlands from the air, for an hour. After feeling like a Condor flying over Chimborazo and Carihuarazo, we will be descending at El Chimborazo Natural Reserve.

Then we will have the opportunity to walk to the base camp and appreciate the vicuñas living in their natural habitat. After this, we will take our private terrestrial transportation to be transferred to the typical Andean Hacienda of San Agustín del Callo. In front of Cotopaxi Active Volcano, stands a beautiful and little-known colonial Hacienda of San Agustín de Callo. Built on the site of an Inca palace, one of the two most important archaeological Inca sites in Ecuador. Dinner will be on time for ending this.

After breakfast, we will get close to the highest active volcano in the world. Begin by hiking the Sierra climate around the Limpiopungo lagoon (13000 ft/3800 m) on the foothills of the Rumiñahui volcano. From here, we have the best views of Cotopaxi, the highest active volcano in the world. There is also the possibility to see wild horses, wild bulls, and some bird species. For lunch, it will be a special activity prepared for you at Chilcabamba Lodge. Concluding our day, we will drive to Quito´s Old Town.

  • DAY 5: Splendid Quito City Tour Experience, Equator Line & Santana Brewing Company, Illa Experience

Explore a truly unique experience in the heart of Quito city and discover its history from a local eye; walk around its narrow streets visiting the most iconic architectural buildings such as; the Golden Church, San Francisco Square, the Main Square, and at the same time visit Luis´ local workshop “Cruz Verde”, a well know artisan whose family has prepared the local candy “Colaciones” for the last 100 years keeping alive Quito´s tradition. Then we will have the SANTANA BREWING experience where you will have a spectacular beer beverage taste, and lunch. After this experience, we will be going to Intiñan Museum where you will stand on both hemispheres by the Equator Line & try to balance an egg on a nail.
For dinner, we will have the opportunity to enjoy a tasty meal freshly prepared using local products and flavors in one of the 50 best restaurants in Latin America in 2022, Nuema Restaurant.

  • DAY 6: International Departure

After Breakfast, transfer to the airport of Quito to take international flights. It Takes approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes.
